What else would a pirate call them?

There are three types of coins available: Gold, Silver and Bronze.

Gold Coins - You earn these coins through commissions on all purchases made by members of your crew. They are real money and available for use on the site.

Silver Coins - You earn five Silver coins for every unique registered user that you refer using your affiliate code. Also, they convert to Gold when that friend makes a coupon purchase on the site.

Bronze Coins - These coins are rewards for your activity on the site. They have no cash value, but can be used for fun and games.

Gold Coins - These can be paid out to you as long as you have a minimum of 25 in your account or you may spend them on a future purchase of a coupon.

Silver Coins - These are not usable until they convert to Gold.

Bronze Coins - These are stricltly gaming coins and can be earned when you participate in any fun activities on Sword.

Why not get paid for all your hard work of sharing the Sword name with your friends and colleagues?

You don't, we do. And we only do so when a referred friend makes a purchase.

Remember that you need to have a minimum of 25 Gold coins to receive a payment. To do so, just click on the Surrender Booty button under the Treasures tab and make the request. Payment will be sent within 45 days of the request.

We have multiple methods available such as Pay-Pal, Bank ACH or a check option.

This is the Sword secret. The bigger your crew, the more you will earn.

By telling friends, family, and colleagues to register at Sword.com. Be sure they use links that contain your Affiliate code so we can give you proper credit.

A Tier is a level of referrals that have come from your hard work and willingness to share. When you refer a friend, they are placed on your first tier and when they refer a friend, their friend is placed on your second tier. This same process continues up to 4 levels.

Tier1 - Friends you invite

Tier2 - Friends invited by Tier1

Tier3 - Friends invited by Tier2

Tier4 - Friends invited by Tier3

We had to cut it somewhere. That just seemed like the perfect spot to make sure a nice payday could be possible and while it is limited to 4 tiers deep, your tree can become as fat as you want it to.

It is a unique number that each member receives upon joining Sword.com. It is used in all of the sharing tools to assure that a member receives proper credit. Read Refer a Friend 101 for more details.

Yes! This will assure proper credit to your account.

By using the tools under the Crew tab or by sharing future deals. All these tools and functions will contain your unique affiliate code.

If the friend you referred registers for the site, Sword.com will award you 5 Silver coins. If the same friend purchases a deal, the 5 Silver coins will convert to Gold coins and you earn a commission on that purchase as well as their future purchases.

You will receive 5 Silver coins when they register. These coins will only turn to Gold when they buy a deal. If they do not buy within one year, the Silver coins will be melted down and returned to our kiln.

Only if they registered from one of your share methods containing your affiliate code.

If you used the methods in place for referrals, you should have received credit for their activity. Remember, they had to join through a link that contained your affiliate code. If you think there is an issue, contact customer service and we will attempt to look into it.

Under the Crew tab, you are able to spread the word though social networking links, email contacts, a simple invite link that you can copy and paste, and through personalized branding. This section gives you the ability to create a Vanity URL that will help personalize the site to friends you are trying to reach out to. All of these options will carry your affiliate code in the referral link or URL. Another option located throughout the site would be the ability to share a specific deal through social networks. The social networking links will also carry your unique affiliate code.

Yes! There is an Advanced Crew page that will allow you to create specific campaigns and grab promotional banners in various sizes.

Yes! There is a tracking report on the Advanced Tracking page that will indicate the success of all members that have joined your tiers through the various promotional methods you may have attempted.

We are all about sharing. If you refer a merchant that ends up advertising with us, we will reward you with 50 Bronze Coins.

If you are not a member of Sword at this time, clicking the Grab Treasure button will prompt you to checkout and in the same instant we will register you. Both processes have been combined for your convenience. If you are a registered member, you can log in and complete the purchase from the internal section of the site.

All deals should be utilized prior to the expiration dates to get the full value of the deal as advertised. If the deal is for a specific date such as a concert or sporting event, be sure to use it at that time.

Each coupon has its own specific terms. Generally a coupon is good until its expiration date.

Most of the deals on Sword will be only one coupon per visit to a merchant. Check the specifics of all available coupons as they will address many other terms that the merchant has required in offering this deal.

Sorry, you're going to have to use the deal in just one visit. However, some merchants may be willing to work with you if this situation arises.

We work directly with merchants so this kind of thing should not happen. Please contact us and let us know when you come across an issue like this one.

Any purchase made is final.

Depending on the applicable state law of the merchant, they would have to honor the coupon for the amount paid for the coupon.

Ex. $20.00 for a $40.00 coupon would still be worth $20.00 if it expired.

Your credit card will be charged when the deal is live and enough coupons have been sold. There may be a hold placed on your card for the deal price up until the time Sword has sold the minimum number of deals required.

We are adding merchants as fast as we can, but if you would like a specific merchant featured then please go to our Refer a Merchant page. Many businesses will be happy to know that there are more customers that would come their way if they offer a coupon.

First, if possible do not close an old email account until the change has been made. Under the My Account tab there is an Access tab that will allow you to change your email. This will be done through a validation link sent to the email on file.

Under the My Account tab there is an Access tab that will allow you to change your password. You may be required to log in again prior to making this change.

It is a simple level of protection that protects you and your earning tree.

There is a forgot password link located on the log in page that you can utilize to retrieve a new password. An email will be sent to the address on file with a new password.

If you forget your email, you will have to contact us through the forgot email link on the log in page. An account rep may be able to help you, if you can validate specific personal and referral information. This is done for your security and to assure that you receive any credit or commissions that you deserve.

If you have any problems using Sword please contact us. We will have someone from our support staff get back to you as quickly as possible. Our responses could be as little as five minutes but could take up to 24 hours.

You will be able to login to the site via your Facebook account. Also there will be many sharing tools available for your Facebook or Twitter account. Your referral code will be embedded in the links to assure that you receive full credit for all users you send to the site.

You need to have an existing Facebook account before creating your Sword account this way (sorry to state the obvious!). Sometimes Facebook Connect has technical problems that are beyond our control, if that is the case please register normally through our site.
